Butterfly conquers both males and females, snatching an endorsement worth millions

Butterfly Sister overpowers Yao Yao, Shu Shu, and Dou Hua Mei to snatch the endorsement of an online game (Rainbow Bubbles). This game's company had previously conducted a survey and found that only males liked Otaku Goddesses while females do not hold a favorable impression of such girls. Only Butterfly receives almost one hundred percent acceptance from males and females, earning her 1,000,000 (TWD).

For her, the company had a theme song composed specially and tailored to her. Because she had previously only sung kiddie songs, she was extremely nervous. This is her first time singing a theme song and insert song, and as internet users enter the game they will be able to listen to her singing voice. She shyly said, "While I was recording, the staff kept on encouraging me. They even said they would sign me up for the Golden Melody Awards. Because of how the dance movements are big, though, if I sang and danced at the same time I'd probably lose my breath."

She actually has no self-confidence in her singing voice. "Because of how my voice is, when I sing adult songs, it seems extremely funny." In order to save money when she was a student, when she and her friends went to KTV, she would not pick any songs so she wouldn't have to pay (as much). Thus, she was called "Little Bit/Baby." It was only after she debuted and began working that she went to KTV and practice singing.

Rainie Yang: A Woman Waiting For Love

From “girl group” to “cute princess”, then stepping into “half mature lady”, before finally becoming a “woman waiting for love”, it has already been 10 years since Rainie Yang entered showbiz. This year is her 5th as a solo artist, and with the opportunity to have a concert in Taiwan, her career is progressing quite smoothly. However, her love life has been quite empty. Seeing her good friend Isabella Leong with a blissful married life, Rainie wishes her happiness, but at the same time isn’t jealous. “My happiness comes from performing onstage, and being loved by my fans.”

10 years ago, Rainie was a member of the four girl group 4 in Love, and after they disbanded and went their various ways, Rainie started her solo career 5 years ago. Entering her fifth year this year, Rainie will be having her first ever paid show in Taiwan. Previously, Taiwanese artists had to give free performances, but because of a large market, it was considered a promotional fee to perform. To see an actual large scale production was more difficult, and recently citizens began to learn to part with their hard-earned money in order to see an actual concert. However, the performer had to be top of the music rankings, or else it would result in more free tickets to fill in empty seats than bought tickets.

Finally entering the Taipei Arena after five years

Rainie already finds it shocking that idol Eason Chan once had 18 shows at the Coliseum, but when reporters told her that Alan Tam and Jacky Cheung each held 30 to 40 concerts 15 years ago, she was stunned speechless. “Can they really sing like this everyday? In Taiwan, there has never been a singer that can have more than five concerts at the Taipei Arena, Hong Kong citizens are really supportive of their fans!” Actually, it’s not only the Hong Kong citizens who like attending concerts; many Mainlanders have also made the trek to Hong Kong to see the shows. Clearly, the entertainment industry has helped boost Hong Kong’s economy considerably.

Rainie will be opening on April 24th at the Taipei Arena, beginning a miraculous journey with the audience members. For example, halfway through, something wonderful and unexpected is planned to happen, and there are rumours that her outfits may not be completely be made of cloth, filling everyone full of awe. “I hope that fans feel they are getting what they paid for, and leave happily. I also want to bring my concert to the Coliseum, but it won’t be able to happen in the first half of the year, because after this concert I will have to start filming an idol drama.”

Looks forward to working with Mike He, fulfilling their three year agreement

Everytime Rainie films an idol drama, one question comes to mind first: “Who is your partner this time? Is it a new pairing, or an old friend?” Everyone hopes that she will work with her classic partner Mike He, causing her to laugh, “Sorry to disappoint! This time it is a new actor.” However, she hasn’t forgotten her three year agreement with Mike; after meeting at the set of "Devil Beside You", three years later they worked together again on "Why Why Love", getting rave reviews, hence their so-called three year agreement. Nodding, Rainie answers, “I remember! But Mike has been progressing in the Mainland mostly, it’s not my fault! I look forward to his return as well! We’ll have to see if we can work together towards the end of the year, we both look forward to this opportunity.”

Doesn’t have spark with Show Luo

Her latest acting partner and thus rumoured lover is Show Luo (Xiao Zhu). “Having another partner is a good thing, early on I was scared to work with Wilber Pan, Jiro Wang and Show, but now I’m not worried to work with another male idol.” She doesn’t know why she and Show became rumoured lovers, and afterwards becaue of an understanding, they separated ways. It wasn’t until they worked on "Hi My Sweetheart" that they poured out their heart to each other, thereby restarting their friendship. After reconnecting, they became close friends again, allowing her to understand the saying “The entertainment circle doesn’t have enemies forever.” Everyone wishes to know if Rainie has any love sparks with either Show or Mike, making her laugh, “That’s hard to say! I won’t say we never will, but at the moment none of us have been ‘zapped’ by the other!

Appears guarded talking about Isabella Leong

Rainie is open and curteous about every subject asked, except for the topic of her good friend Isabella, on which she appears slightly guarded. Asked if she bade Isabella support her concert by attending? She distractedly answered, “I think she’s busy during that time, but we did agree that if I was in Hong Kong for a concert, she will come support me. Hearing her say this makes me very happy.” Has Isabella revealed any next pregnancies? Shaking her head, “Hasn’t brought this up, I also won’t intrude on friends’ news, if she wants to tell me, she will.” Clearly, she is very protective and respectful of this good friend.

Love comes from fans

Is Rainie jealous of Isabella finding a good boyfriend, one that isn’t fought over in the entertainment circle? “We have different paths, she has always wanted a happy family life, so I’m happy for her. But my happiness comes from performing on stage, as long as I hear the applause, I will be very happy, so I’m not jealous. I’m still not ready to start a family at the moment, there’s still bigger and better targets for me to pursue, I really want to come to Hong Kong, Eastern and Southern Asia, and even the Mainland for my concerts!” It turns out that the love Rainie is waiting for, comes from her fans.

Rainie Yang and James Wen play a couple on One Million Singer

Rainie Yang returned to the popular weekend variety One Million Singer to promote her upcoming concert at the Taipei Arena. Regular viewers of the show might remember her as one of the top contestants that have reached “killer” status. Although she is not the greatest singer, she definitely has an in-depth knowledge of lyrics from all eras. Her return made the production team worried because it meant time to give away some serious prize money – again.

James Wen was also a guest on the show and joined Rainie Yang for one of her stages. The two performed an “idol drama musical” that left the fans screaming. After completing nine stages, Rainie Yang challenged the NT$300,000 final stage. She missed 3 words in the Jolin Tsai song A Wonder in Madrid, and went home with NT$75,000. Host Harlem Yu praised her saying, “Looking at your performance here, it means the ticket sales for your concert will be great.”

Interestingly, she and the host are both having concerts at the Taipei Arena in April. Rainie Yang revealed that her upcoming show will feature some high tech man-made clouds, so her audience gets to feel what it’s like to touch them. Not to be outdone, Harlem Yu responded back by saying, “I also have a lot of special effects, but (I) won’t tell you.”

As for James Wen, he said he had participated in many singing contests during his university days. He joked that he even dreamt of being a singer and mostly practiced songs by Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung and William So. He would always make it to the top 8 and eventually got cut during the final 4. James Wen said One Million Singer is his first singing show, so he wanted do his best. Unfortunately, Harlem Yu noticed his awkward way of holding the microphone soon after he took the stage. The host quickly taught him the right way and said, “This is the first lesson for being a singer.”

From Poison To King : Show Lo Knows Best The Bitterness of Disappointment

During Show's career tough, he had once been declined by luxury brands, but now everyone wants a piece of him.

Show "Xiao Zhu[Little Pig]" Lo will soon be closing himself off in preparation for his upcoming concert. But before that, with some spare time, he was open for some brand name celebrity photo shooting. When news got out, all various brand names where fighting to get in on it. When Show heard this, lots of thoughts swelled up inside, he said, "Before, no one wanted to lend me clothing. In attending formal events, when the companies heard it was for Xiao Zhu, they all said that they weren't befitting. Who would have ever thought that I'd get a chance to turn a new leaf today?"

In the recent years of interviewing Show, I'd always get the impulse to say to him, "Just forget about the past!" Not only did the fashion photo shoot invoke his sentiments, when reminiscing about native films, he seemed to be disinterested in filming movies, which was also due to past setbacks. He said that he had been titled, "TV Rating Poison" before and that was a huge blow to him. Just thinking about entering the silver screen and not having the ticket sales expected, and thinking about how he'd be made out to be "poison" again, he'd probably go crazy.

It's true though, having never experienced falling into a deep ditch, it's hard to understand Show and his "unable to let go" mindset. And because of his past experiences of being unpopular, days of utterly degrading criticism, Show is able to use Iron Man-willpower to maintain his showbiz career, strive with his utmost diligence, demand perfection, in fear and trepidation.

Whether or not a celebrity is popular, it's like a "man drinking water, only he'd know whether it's hot or cold," with this gush of emotions, Show is planning to display it on stage at his "Wu Fa Wu Tian" concert in form of a 2-minute dance. That portion of the concert is called "Dancing with Your Life," Show will use his expertise in body language to depict his journey in showbiz, the struggle from being negated to being acknowledged.

From Poison to King, besides selling lots of albums and getting high drama ratings, Show's dressing style had also gone from being picked on and turning into a trendy guy. This time around he wore Gucci for the photo shoot, fashioning a Chanel Watch, along with the Rimowa suitcase that celebrities love most. Show said that dressing up is something happy, your conduct and behavior will change with what you're wearing for the day; a gentleman when you wear a tux, a trendy guy when in street wear. The only thing that won't change is the accessories he likes to use. Over the new year, his manager helped him by a Chanel watch from Paris. When his manager walked into the store, the staff thought she was just a little girl, and thought she was just in there to look around, but unthinkably, this little girl took out rolls of cash from her purse, making the clerk a little confused as to what had just happened.

When Show buys things, it has always been with cash. Even when buying a Chanel watch, he had asked his manager to carry cash to Paris to make the purchase

Kevin Lin's "Rumors" earned him 5 million

The 45 year old singer song-writer, Kevin Lin, recently made a comeback with his latest duet with Super Idol season 1 winner Chang Yun-Jing, “When did we forget...?” Kevin has written over 500 songs throughout his career and not only he is one of the main judges on the popular singing competition show, Super Idol, he is also Angela Chang’s manager. But Kevin reveals that he likes being a singer the best, “I like singing the songs I write myself.”

Looking back, Kevin participated in a songwriting contest while he was in University when he was 21 years old. He won 3rd place and got to release his very own personal album two years later. He later composed the mega hit duet, “Rumors,” for Hong Kong’s pop star, Vivian Chow, who was 3 years his junior. It was Vivian Chow’s first mandarin song and it earned Kevin five-million (NT) in royalty. Kevin comments, “She is really an angelic girl from inside and out. She has great personality and temperament.” As for his recent collaboration with the very “manly” Chang Yun-Jing, Kevin laughs, “When I worked with Vivian Chow, it was the feeling of enjoying love, but Chang Yun-Jing is like the rage in music.”

Kevin admits that he doesn’t release a lot of albums and has had many “low points” in his career. Being a judge on Super Idol gives him the chance to release a new album, but it also puts great pressure on him due to the criticisms from netizens. However, Kevin expresses, “Because I’ve experienced it before (as a contestant in the past), so I can understand the contestants’ feelings, which also affects my critique towards them. I tend to give more encouraging comments.”

11 years ago through a good friend, he discovered the talent, Angela Chang. He brought the new star to several record companies and now she has successfully become a pop idol. Kevin comments that since Angela’s career is set, he leaves it up to her record company Linfair Records to make most of the decisions, “I have an idea of what I need to do as a manager, but I don’t know a lot, so I just grasp the general direction of things and entrust everything else to the record company.”

On the left, is the photo of Kevin at age 23 while wearing his school uniform. 25 year old Kevin (right) decides to try a new look for his second album.

Kevin was 28 when he collaborated with Vivian Chow to sing the mega 90's hit duet, "Rumors."

Rhydian Vaughan keeps mascara in his bag

The actor turns out to be quite different from the Prince Gang leader that he plays in the movie Monga. In real life, Rhydian Vaughan is a student at a drama school in the UK and carries around some impressive literary works like Lung Ying-Tai’s Big River, Big Sea — Untold Stories of 1949 and Arthur Miller’s A view from the Bridge.

Some might think of Arthur Miller as Marilyn Monroe’s ex-husband, but Rhydian Vaughan’s eyes light up when he talks about him, “I think he is the greatest playwright of the last century. Everything that he had written, I would read them over many times.” Surprisingly, his bag also contains several juggling balls, which turns out to be tools for learning, “This helps with practicing my concentration. I think my mom’s method of teaching gave me too much freedom. Practicing this trains my concentration.”

The only thing in his bag that relates to Monga is probably his membership card to a tanning salon. Monga’s director Niu Cheng-Ze thought his skin was too light and asked him to get “darker” before filming began. He laughed and said, “I went tanning twice, but (I) was still lighter than everyone else. When (I) returned to the UK after filming was done, snow was everywhere, so (my skin) lightened again.”

At only 22, plus a mix of British and Chinese, he is proud of his skin condition. No skincare products were found in his bag, but he did have a bunch of Fasio mascaras. He explained, “They were given by the company after attending a promotional event. I’m taking them back to the UK for my classmates. (Because) you know, girls from the drama major especially like being pretty."

AK will hit nightclubs to promote their first album

While other idol groups are on hiatus or busy with their oversea promotions, AK will try to make a place for themselves in the highly competitive teen market. They were tested earlier this month with several street performances, in which they even got some unexpected support from Uncle G-string. However, their real test will come when they perform at the famous gay bar Funky Nightclub on April 30th.

Andy Chen is pretty confident about the performance because his gay friends have told him that they are quite enthusiastic, and won't hesitate from giving cheers and applause. His “partner” Kris Shen said he has never been to a gay bar so it will be a special experience. The two are practicing their dances in hopes to bring something new to the audience.

Their manager Ben was asked if Kris Shen is old enough to perform at nightclubs since he doesn’t turn 18 until November. He said, “We are starting at 10 in the evening, and will finish before 12. (We) asked already and there should be no problem.” AK will have their first concert at another nightclub, Luxy, on May 15th, and their debut album will be released at the end of April.

Ambrose Hui speaks out about his case

Ambrose Hui held a press conference yesterday in regards to his police investigation that made headlines last week. He is suspected of instigating a gang-related shooting incident, in which he was summoned for questioning on the 25th.

Accompanied by his lawyer, Ambrose Hui explained that the incident had started in October of last year. He began by stating that he did not instigate any conflicts, hurt anyone or any shootings, and he had no involvement with gangs. He said he won’t destroy his own future and denied he was beaten.

Concerning the incident on October 17th of last year, Ambrose Hui said he it was his 33rd birthday and his motorcycle-mechanic friend invited him to the Sparks nightclub to celebrate. He happened to meet a woman which he had known as he was leaving the club. While they were chatting, a drunken man punched him, so he quickly left the scene and returned home. He later heard that his friends and the man had a fight. His mechanic friend said a gang boss also came asking for money. Ambrose Hui said he didn’t pay any attention at the time, and he hasn’t been in touch with the person after the incident.

He spoke with the print media after the press conference, “The media’s speculation is too ‘over’. If I’m involved with gangs, why would I be allowed to leave after the hearing?” He said the event has taken him to the lowest point of his entertainment career. He had to turn down an invitation to be a guest judge at the mainland Super Girl event. The investigation is expected to take 4 months, so he said his work (schedule) will be greatly affected.

Ambrose Hui said over his 9-year career, all news about him have been bad news, “(I) have been 'the other man' in other people’s relationship before (referring to Penny Lin and Lin Yo-Wei), I was wrong.” However, he stressed again that he has no involvement with gangs. He said he was frightened while riding in the same car as gang members when they were being taken to the police. He asked, “Would I still be able to continue as an entertainer? Would the Taiwanese audience still accept me?”

P.S Man finally pulls ahead of Down With Love

The two dramas have been in a tight race over the past month, but P.S. Man finally came up with a big win. The latest episode took in an average rating of 4.03%, while Down With Love had 3.02%. It was the widest margin between the two dramas after they started going head-to-head, as well as the first time P.S. Man got over 4% since it premiered with 4.57%. It seems like the drama's heavily promoted shower scene paid off after all.

The cast of P.S. Man celebrated on set in Taoyuan by chewing on sugarcanes. Xiao Xiao Bin happily enjoyed his first cane, but Sonia Sui caringly reminded him, “Don’t bite off your teeth!” The P.S. Man himself had some nice things to say about his costar, “She has become increasingly prettier. The feeling gets stronger as (we) spend more time together.” Sonia Sui's face blushed after Blue Lan praised her twice. She responded with, “We are brothers.”

Xiah Junsu’s brother Zuno hopes for Mandopop success with “Let Me Go” MV

As more and more Mandopop artists expand their musical influence by diving into the J-pop market, a number of Korean singers are either debuting or expanding their own fame into the Mandopop market in order to capitalize on its untapped audience. New Mandopop artist Zuno (real name: Kim Junho 金俊浩) is no exception, hoping to emulate last year’s success of currently suspended Super Junior-M, while also avoiding Wonder Girls’ failed Mandopop run earlier this year.

Best known as the big brother of megapopular Korean boy band DBSK’s Xiah Junsu, Zuno made his first major move into the Mandopop industry with the release of his first MV from his single “Let Me Go 放開我”. The aspiring artist hopes to make a name for himself and separating himself from his famous brother by making a musical debut in mainland China instead of his native South Korea.

Having studied Chinese Mandarin for at least a year in Beijing, Zuno also trained as an actor due to greater emphasis of singers playing dual roles as actors in the Mandopop industry. Prior to the MV’s release for the song “Let Me Go”, Zuno expressed that the song was a musical piece to demonstrate a guy’s quality and charisma, and also a way to express the various ways that a guy suffers for the sake of the woman he loves.

Korean netizens, who have been following Zuno following his debut on Korean television alongside DBSK member Xiah, praised the recently released MV upon viewing it streaming sites, since the MV was only aired in mainland China a couple days ago. Additionally, many Korean netizens expressed high hopes that Xiah’s twin will give them someone else to follow outside of DBSK and their activities. Chinese netizens have not been as receptive though, labeling Zuno’s latest song as forcing its K-pop styles onto Mandopop trends, while many have also criticized the newcomer for his heavily Korean-accented Chinese Mandarin and his song’s repetitive lyrics.

Ming Dao brings "bliss" from Europe to CTV

SETTV's top male and female idols Ming Dao and Joe Chen (Qiao En) have been quite busy after their respective contracts ended. Ming Dao takes the lead in Anhui TV's "Happy & Love Forever", which will air on CTV right after "Down With Love". Having just mentioned her urge to act in a movie, Joe will likely be cast as the lead in a new movie, "Wo Ai Cha Mei Le", but the producer mentioned, "Nothing's set in stone!"

As Ming Dao's "Happy & Love Forever" will soon air on CTV, he will be fighting for ratings with an old friend. Earlier, he and four friends travelled to Europe for close to one month, hitting up London, Paris and Monaco etc., and even went alpine skiing. Eating and accomodations cost them close to 6 million TWD, resulting in him turning down two appearance events in Mainland China exceeding 100 million in ads.

Not an expert at skiing, Ming Dao was dazed after seeing the skiing grounds. Due to him being a beginner, he wasn't used to the long and skinny skis and kept falling down. Many friendly and helpful European children helped him up, but in the end he showed his heart for learning and fell in love with the sport.

Joe's starring in "Fated to Love You" and "The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog" helped SETTV break idol drama records, and also made her the top dog in idol dramas. Earlier she mentioned that she would be appearing in another idol drama, according to reports, it will be Joe squared (Joe Chen and Joe Cheng) appearing in the novel adaptation of "Wang De Lian Ge".

Ruby Lin once considered socks with heels clashy

Earlier, reports surfaced of Ruby Lin having dated Patty Hou's fiance Huang Bo Jun. At an interview with "China Times", she said that she isn't regretful. "I truly and fully wish them the most happiness." She wore Dior and Burberry's new line at the photoshoot, which featured many items of clothing that were nude coloured and silver, showing off her light heartedness and clarity.

Wearing a romantic Dior gown, Ruby couldn't resist pairing the dress with short socks and high heels. Laughing, she said "Oh my goodness, no one wore socks with heels like this in my school days, because they'll be laughed at as the village maiden. I can't believe it's so popular now!" She feels that the nude and silver colours this season are full of modern appeal.

The magazine points out that Ruby and Bo Jun's parents are all rotary club members, and met after an introduction by the parents. Bo Jun expressed lots of interest upon meeting her, and initiated contact with the intent to date her. However, because his foremost reason for dating was marriage, added with Ruby's recent breakup with long time rumoured boyfriend Stanley Tong, she wasn't in the mood to see anyone new, and they didn't pursue any relationships.

To be tied in with being matchmade and having dated Bo Jun, Ruby simply says, "I am not the old flame." She continues to say that the allegations are being really stretched, since they have only seen each other twice, and it was at a gathering with many elders, so they are not familiar with each other. As for rumours that Bo Jun's family background is alarming, (apparently his dad is Ti Hua Street's landlord), she laughs. "This one rumour I've never heard my own parents mention, I also only found out after reading it in news reports."

Aya is leaving Guess Guess Guess

Butterfly and Aya

Many viewers were caught off guard when the popular host announced her departure after 12 years with the show. Although Guess Guess Guess has seen many changes with its assistant host, Aya has remained as Jacky Wu’s main co-host over the years.

Earlier this year, Yao Yao was brought in to replace Butterfly in an attempt to improve the show’s ratings. Guess Guess Guess has actually been doing worst since then, which led to speculations that Yao Yao might be replaced as well. Its ratings improved slightly over the past few weeks when Amber Ann and Alicia Liu filled in while Yao Yao was away. Along with Tofu girl, the three are rumored as possible candidates to replace Yao Yao for good.

Following her sudden announcement on the 29th, Aya said she is leaving because she hasn’t been able to help with the show’s ratings. She felt that she wasn't able to contribute to the show and also wanted to expand her career in acting. She recommended to viewers that Butterfly could return as Yao Yao’s new co-host.

A-Lin meets the tone-deaf Goddess of youth-channel, Pu Tao Jie Jie

In a recent episode of Kang Xi Lai Le, A-Lin got to meet the popular and tone-deaf Pu Tao Jie Jie (Sister Grape). A-Lin’s songs have been known for their difficulty, which make them popular picks on singing competition shows as contestants can show off their vocals with them. Pu Tao, the (self-proclaimed) Goddess of youth-channel, also wanted to attempt one of A-Lin’s latest singles, “Before, After.” The mismatch of Pu Tao’s child-like voice in singing a serious ballad was enough to make hosts Cai Kang-Yong and Xiao S laugh non-stop throughout her performance. In addition to being off-pitched, Pu Tao’s rendition of “Before, After” made the song unrecognizable. Host Cai Kang-Yong commented while giggling, “It was a complete mess. She bombed the song.” A-Lin, who was speechless after the performance, was supposed to help Pu Tao improve in singing the song. Luckily, Xiao S determined that Pu Tao was a hopeless singer and told A-Lin, “I don’t think you need to attempt to teach her (how to sing it), let’s just hear you sing us the original version.” Pu Tao confidently replied, “You hear it! We sound pretty much the same.”

As a warm up, Xiao S asked Pu Tao to sing the chorus of A-Lin’s debut hit, “Lovelorn, not guilty.” It took both Pu Tao and Xiao S several tries to sing it right…

Xiao Zhu offers body but bans kissing and head touching

Tickets to see Taiwanese Dancing King Show Luo (Xiao Zhu) at his three concerts in April sold out in a mere 2 hours, so as a way of thanks, yesterday he came to Hong Kong to hold a hugging party. Somewhat vain, he banned fans from touching his hair, and claimed that after he was kissed by male fans, also banned fans from kissing him!

Xiao Zhu will be having three concerts as part of his "2010 Show Luo Dancing Skills World 3D World Live Tour" from April 30th to May 2nd, tickets to which sold out within 2 hours. He arrived at a mall to hold a special thankyou party for his fans, and gave ticket holders "a hug of love". Of the 3000 fans who lined up, there were little kids who dressed up as Xiao Zhu and Rainie Yang's characters in their drama Hi My Sweetheart, causing Show to exclaim their cuteness and take pictures for reminiscing.

Not worried about "losing out"

Asked if he was worried about being groped, he said that as a boy he's not overly worried, but revealed that he has met some crazy fans before. "Once, while I was at a wedding photo event with fans, a female fan requested a shot of us facing each other. Suddenly she stepped forward and kissed me, luckily I managed to evade her. (Let her kiss you?) At these events everyone should follow the rules, and I have to be fair to everyone. (What other rules are there?) They can't touch my hair, no kissing on the mouth... kissing is pretty dangerous!" He also said that a male fan had kissed his forehead once, scaring him to jump back a couple steps.

"Black Pig" leaves Hong Kong

To reports of SaGei's wedding, Xiao Zhu expressed surprise, saying "I just heard news about their breakup, but this news is between them. (WIll you go to the States for a secret wedding yourself?) Right now, lots of people will know about artists going to the States to get married, so I will go elsewhere! Haha, I haven't thought about getting married yet." After attending the hugging party, Xiao Zhu left on a flight back to Taiwan, where close to 80 fans went to the airport to send him off. He left wearing all black, added with a black mouth mask, and was dubbed "Black Pig".

James Wen welcomes all mammals

“Zoom Hunting” will be in theatres on April 16, and the cast held a fan meeting at Taichung yesterday. The moment James Wen, Janine Chang and Chu Chih-Ying stepped onto the stage, the crowd screamed in excitement.

The host of the event wickedly asked, “If you didn’t have to worry about any consequences, who is the ideal person that you most want to have an affair with?” The director and the cast decided to have fun with their answers. Director Zhuo Li expressed that as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone, it doesn’t matter whether the person is a man or a woman or of what age. Since the Director’s answer had such an broad range, James, not wanting to seem weak, answered, “Then any mammal is okay.” The crowd immediately screamed from surprise.

Seeing that their answers were “not restricted,” Janine said she would choose to have an affair with Chu Chih-Ying. Upon hearing the answer, Chu Chih-Ying, trying to hide her laughter, expressed that she wouldn’t be able to turn down Janine. Later, Chu Chih-Ying and Janine made fun that despite James was the only guy on the stage, no one wanted to have an affair with him.

Chen Qiao En says no to Roy Chiu

Joe Chen Qiao-En and Roy Chiu were said to be in a relationship after working together on the idol drama Easy Fortune Happy Life. The two collaborated again in the mainland drama The Girl in Blue and were still very much in love. Surprisingly, the half year-old relationship is rumored to have already ended. At an event yesterday, Joe Chen said, “He and I are friends who no longer interact or stay in-touch.”

Joe Chen revealed last August that she and her boyfriend of 4 years have broken up. She was filming Easy Fortune Happy Life at the time, and shortly after, she was photographed going to Roy Chiu's place. Although they never admitted to be a couple, their relationship continued on as they filmed The Girl in Blue in the mainland.

After filming completed, their relationship seemed to have cooled off much to everyone’s surprise. Joe Chen wrote a blog entry on February 11th saying, “I think, (I can) leave now, and not to come back anymore... … Am I that difficult to get along with? That erratic?” According to “friends” of the two, they broke up because of their very different personalities -- Roy Chiu apparently is a introverted and calm person, while Joe Chen wants to be cared for but also likes to take the lead.

When asked about the state of her love life, Joe Chen said, “I’m single.” She added, “(Roy Chiu is) A friend who is not in contact. Don’t link me and him together anymore.” She stressed that they are only friends who got along during filming. They haven’t interacted since the drama ended, and they were never together.

Joe Chen turned herself into a barbaric girlfriend in her new bra commercial. She has a fight with her on-screen boyfriend while dressed in underwear, and ends up crying in his arms at the end. One of the scenes features her running down the stairs with her 32D chest. She was quite embarrassed and said, “I was very shocked (to see the finished commercial), and felt it was a bit over.” As for the “break up”, Roy Chiu’s manager said, “It’s not like we’re the ones selling bras, how are we supposed to respond!”

Here is what she was shocked about:

His manager explained that Xiao Xiao Bin has seen many doctors, but the western medication contained steroids, so they took him to a Chinese medicine doctor instead. His condition has gotten better after adjusting his diet and applying a botanical medicine directly on the affected area.

The Drifters film new MVs with Jay Chou in Japan, get some shopping done there

Jay Chou invested more into his new group The Drifters by sending them to Japan in order to shoot three new MVs. Recently, the MV for the song "You are My "Bandaid", which was shot in the popular tourist attraction of Kamakura, Japan, found a "cherry blossom girl" (note: what Taiwanese media calls a Japanese girl) to play the lead female role for the MV. The band's members Chang Qing and Darren only regret that they couldn't play parts as leads with the cute female actress in the MV, because "Directory Chou" craved the role as the lead male actor for their MV.

The song "You are My Bandaid" is actually a remake of the song "Sakura 桜" by Japanese group Funk Monkey Babys ファンキー・モンキー・ベイビーズ. When Jay first heard the song, he immediately felt that the song was a perfect fit for his group The Drifters. Not only that, but Jay also composed the lyrics with them, gave the duo his support, provided vocals for the chorus, and personally directed and participated in their performance. The song "You are My Bandaid" is a song full of encouragement and heartening sprit, with Jay saying, "This is a song to heal the wounds. When you finish hearing this song, you'll believe that your wounds will get better faster!"

Along with filming the MV, Jay also brought The Drifters along to Tokyo's Shimokitazawa, a small yet hip neighborhood in Tokyo that typically caters to small crowds on an ordinary day, for some shopping. But once the trio arrived, not only were they followed by "We Love Jay" music fans, but were also attracting the attention of Japanese girls who wanted to get their photos taken with The Drifters who continued to rave about their stylish fashion, which made the super stylish Jay endlessly happy about that towards his musical creation. As Jay, Chang Qing, and Darren wandered into each store, the three generously splurged on their merchandise as they transformed their looks on each succeeding visit, and eventually blending in with the artist crowd that mingles in the neighborhood.
