Jolin dons wigs for sexy stockings ad, nets NT$30M paycheck

Following the recent economic recovery in East Asia, Taiwanese pop queen Jolin Tsai received NT$30M (US$900K) from a recent commercial shoot for a mainland Chinese stockings company. Jolin had on fishnet stockings while on a motorcycle, acting the part of the beauty as she frequently crossed her legs during her poses and got the eyes of male staff members on set glued to her. Mayday to Release 3D Movie of DNA Concert

After being on tour for over 14 months and performing 44 concerts around the world for over 620,000 people, Mayday racked up a whopping 1,116,000,000 NT (approximately $35 million) in ticket sales. Mayday announced that when their last tour performance ends on July 24th at Taizhong, Taiwan, the rock band will be filming their concert into a 3D movie titled 《3DNA》.

During a recent interview with Mayday, Ah shin asked bassist Masa if he was excited for the filming to begin. Masa replied that he was indeed excited for the filming of the movie. Guitarists Stone and Monster further added that to comply with 3D movies, they will be shooting out "things" to the audience. Huang Xiao Ming and Angelababy’s 48 Hour Rendezvous

Since August 2009, Huang Xiao Ming has been romantically linked with model, Angelababy. The pair never admitted their relationship publicly. Otaku goddess Yao Yao Guo Shu Yao has been working on changing her image and appeared at a special screening of SETTV's "Ni Yada" on the 25th, where she was asked how newcomer Anli Chen (Wukong Mei) compares/stacks up to herself. Idol drama "Girl In Boys' Dorm" which will be promoting Yilan County, went to Luna Plaza's Old Tree Square yesterday afternoon to film a scene where the male lead Michael Chang had to slide downwards from the sky in a hang glider. The shot began from the 7th floor of the Silk's Place, sliding all the way down to the 1st floor of Luna Plaza, at first the crew were worried about the difficulty and danger associated with the scene and considered using a stunt double but Michael was very professional and was determined to do it, furthermore, after filming the scene three times from different angles, sweating in the extreme heat, his performance was excellent.

Claire Kuo declines appearing on Liang Chen Live

Due to Blackie’s resignation, CTiTV’s new variety, “Liang Chen Ji Shi” (Liang Chen Live) has been surrounded with heated debate. Claire Kuo, who has just released her latest album, “Your Friend,” originally planned to attend the show's recording last night, but she withdrew just before the show.

Wu Chun goes "Brother Sharp" for his new role

It's been nearly two years since we last saw Wu Chun in Hot Shot, but the wait is almost over! He will soon be returning to TV alongside Rainie Yang in the new idol drama 陽光天使 (roughly translates to "Sunny Angel"). Wu Chun's character is an entrepreneur who ended up living in the streets after going bankrupt. After hurting his pinky and performing his magic shows in Mainland, Magician Lu Chen returned to Taiwan yesterday to attend the press conference for the yogurt drink, 統一多多 (Duo Duo), and performed two magic tricks.

Lu Chen’s popularity has continued to rise throughout the year, where some reports say that he can make three hundred thousand dollars (NT) in one minute.
