JJ Lin's first performance after airport incident; announces upcoming concert

As previously reported, JJ Lin was stuck at the New York airport for 80 hours and couldn’t go back to Taiwan until the day before New Year’s Eve. He celebrated the New Year with fans at Kaohsiung and Taichung, performing a series of new and old songs at the countdown concerts. It was his first activity since the airport incident; JJ shouted, "I finally made it back!" and then assured everyone that he had gone home to take a shower and change into a fresh set of clothes before going to the countdown concerts.

JJ also took the opportunity to announce his upcoming concert on April 2nd at the Taipei Arena. He held a press conference on the very next day (1st) to celebrate his album sales as well as making the official announcement for the concert (tickets on sale now). He revealed that he will be collaborating with a team of Korean dancers to showcase a special dance number. When asked if there will be other gimmicks, he laughed, “There will be no ‘Double J’ (stunt)…I am ‘double J’” – referring to the fact that he’s…. ‘JJ’. The media asked if his rumored girlfriend would be attending; JJ responded, “All of my friends will go.”

JJ expressed that he has been rather unhappy about the media referring to his rumored girlfriend as the ‘E-cup girl’, “Please don’t call her that, it sounds awful. She doesn’t like it either.” When the media pressed further to ask if she is his girlfriend or if there’s someone else, he answered, “We are still in the stage of discussion. Da S Advises Friends Don't Dress Too Pretty

A 9 meter tall Transformer weighing three tons stood on the stage as an awesome decoration. In addition, Mayday’s lead vocalist Ashin and host Patty Hou sang “志明與春嬌” (Zhi Ming and Chun Jiao) together, taking the show to its climax. But Ashin laughed, “The Transformer, and the hundred-member guitar club all didn’t matter because the spotlight was stolen away by Monster and his foot cast. Luckily, we still had Patty Hou.” It turned out that band-mate Monster had broken his left foot from accidentally kicking his bed post. Monster sighed, “It’s a little unfortunate that I couldn’t get into the high spirit of the countdown with everyone.”

Crowd Lu started feeling some pain and numbness on his arm before the big day. He was advised by a traditional Chinese medicine doctor that it was most likely due to the cold weather, causing bad blood circulation. The doctor inserted three acupuncture needles on his arm and leg and then rubbed some herbal medicine on them, using some gauze to secure its place. He didn’t remove the gauze until the day of the countdown concert. Fortunately, he was fine and it didn’t affect his guitar playing. Instead of wearing his signature shorts, Crowd wore long pants to perform.

Show Luo welcomes the new year with a wig

“Asia dance king” Show Luo was performing at the Taoyuan and Kaohsiung countdown concerts. Leehom to play on transparent piano for New Year show

Wilber Pan "kills" Amber Kuo?

Wilber Pan actually killed Amber Kuo? In the MV for Wilber's newest song, "全面通緝" (roughly Most Wanted), he becomes a murderer in order to save his childhood sweetheart. For the MV, the director specially wrote the script for Wilber, making him into a trained international killer. He receives an assignment to assassinate a girl who turns out to be his childhood sweetheart. In order to save her, he creates a plan involving feigning death. Not only are there shooting scenes, he also has to first "kill" the female lead and then put her into a body bag to trick his employer.

As for the lead, turns out it was not Amber. She did, however, look so much like Amber that everyone on set thought Wilber was "killing" her.
