Ella spent the day preparing a grand meal for her fellow S.H.E. band mates.

The girls of S.H.E got together today for a special dinner amongst the 3 of them. The feast was prepared from scratch by Ella who slaved away in the kitchen all day to get everything ready for their gathering that night.

When dinner was ready, the 3 spent the evening enjoy each other's company while eating Ella's delicious food. The 3 acted like real sisters with a bond that's just as strong.

After dinner was over, Selina got a leg massage from her band mates. Her fiance arrived as well to help with the massaging. Even though his finger became sore after a while, he continued to care and nurture her out of love.

With both her band mates having a significant other to care for them, Hebe admitted that she sometimes feels lonely at night being the only one single one left. However, she is still in good spirits and is hopeful she'll find love one day as well.

Jay Chou neglected as Magician Lu Chen steals the spotlight

Jay Chou, Magician Lu Chen, and Will Liu held a grand opening event yesterday for their new music and magic restaurant. However, Lu Chen was the center of attention due to the news of him dating Hong Kong model Renee Lee broke out just the day before. As for President Chou being neglected by the media, President Chou responded, “I’m already used to this. Whenever I’m doing promotional activities with someone else, I don’t care whose name is first. The less attention I get, the more comfortable I am.”

On the 25th, 35 year old Lu Chen was spotted at the Taoyuan airport picking up his 20 year old girlfriend Renee from Hong Kong. Lu Chen remained low profile at the grand opening event but revealed that their relationship is “just beginning.” After he made headlines on Appledaily, his mom only told him to “bring her home and introduce her.” However, his girlfriend was rather startled, “It scared her! Because of the news, her manager was tending to calls from the media until 5 am. And other media complained about why she didn’t let them know about news and gave the exclusive to one newspaper.”

President Chou teased Lu Chen, “He’s very mysterious. We still haven’t seen his new girlfriend. Actually, having a manager that supports your love relationship is not bad.” Lu Chen originally planned to bring his girlfriend to the grand opening event, but instead, she only attended the private party afterwards to avoid stealing the attention away from the restaurant. Although President Chou said that he didn’t mind others stealing the spotlight, he emphasized that the media must focus all their attention to him when it is his birthday.

Right: July 26th - Lu Chen and girlfriend Renee were heading out for dinner.

President Chou and Lu Chen admitted that magic tricks sure do help them in finding girlfriends. The two stars collaborated to show a few poker cards magic tricks at the event. The restaurant’s predecessor was Pandamen’s film set; President Chou’s batmobile and antique piano are put on display there.

Jeremy Liu and Gui Gui reenacts Titanic scene in new MV

Regardless of whether you’re thrilled or chilled to hear about this, Jeremy Liu released his third (homemade) MV yesterday titled, “Glued To You”. Just like his first hit, “Thinking of You”, the MV was filmed at his eight million dollar (NT) mansion in Taipei and has Gui Gui as his female lead. In fact, it was filmed at the same time as the first MV -- to save production cost! In the MV, there is a scene of Jeremy hugging Gui Gui from behind; netizens couldn’t help but point out that it reminded them of Titanic.

As reported earlier, Jeremy’s album, “Touched”, was number one on G-Music’s sales chart, but rumors say that he bought his way to the top spot. Jeremy’s record company Extend Entertainment denied the claims. On the other hand, its distributor Linfair Records expressed, “Everyone probably has an idea of what the actual sales numbers are. There’s no way that our company would pay for a spot on the sales chart, but from the industry’s perspective, it’s impossible for ‘Thinking of You’ to get number one.” Linfair also added that they are not responsible for printing the CDs, making the KTVs, or scheduling autograph sessions as they are done by Extend Entertainment.

Jeremy’s schedule has been fully booked and just two days ago, he fainted due to fatigue, so all his activities were canceled yesterday. Singing competition show judge Xu Chang-De described Jeremy’s fame as a fluke yesterday, but praised, “He did very well at the press conference. His discipline and EQ are exceptional.”

Check out the MV below!

Vivian Hsu abandons her look to flee

The Wei Te-Shen directed SEEDIQ BALE used the "Wushe Incident" in Taiwan history as its backdrop. The most key scene in the film was the "public school battle". The director asked the actors to cultivate their emotions before the performance. Over 100 actors ran for their lives, even Vivian Hsu (Tsui Yuek Suen) who was used to seeing big scale productions was scared out of her wits along with Irene Luo (Law Mei Ling). Both of their legs went from under them as they sat on the ground. Vivian in the crowded escape scratched her calf, Mei Ling who was carrying a child was pushed to the ground. In order to protect the child she threw herself onto the ground first and even interrupted the shoot. Their professionalism for this major scene left them without any complaint despite the injuries.

In the fleeing scene, the sound of the killings left Tsui Yuek Suen weak in the knees. Because she was in a kimono, aside from the injury and hurt from falling during her run she also had to tolerate the heat and the sweat as mud and a lot of blood landed on her. However Vivian still insisted on performing herself. She not only satisfied her perfect image but also climbed over other corpses to look for a way to survive.

Also fleeing in this scene, Law Mei Ling not only had to mind her own safety but also her on screen child. Law Mei Ling said, "I originally thought if I ran with a child, I would wrap it in cloth! However that would not be realistic enough, so we were carrying real children. During the performance I really was very nervous!"

Jay Chou and Bai Bing use real guns in Jordan

The Dante Lam Chiu Yin directed, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun), Andy On Chi Kit and Bai Bing starred THE VIRAL FACTOR (YIK JIN) shot on location in Jordan. Lam Chiu Yin spent almost HK$100 million to use live ammunition and real guns. With the support of the Jordanian military, over 100 powerful and used in real battle tanks and jets appeared in the film. As a gun expert, the director explained the various gun knowledge to Chow Kit Lun and Bai Bing. Both have been rarely in contact with guns.

The director in order to make their performance even more detailed took the time to personally explain to them the uses and other knowledge of the guns, including how to hold them, load ammunition and shoot them. The prop master even gave Chairman Chou a model gun for him to practice with. Bai Bing in the past participated in mostly small budget films, and due to her sweet and mild mannered looks she often was cast in more quiet roles. Lam Chiu Yin changed her image this time into a tough warrior woman. She kept asking the director questions during the shoot. Director Lam said, "She is very hard working and willing to learn. As soon as she was free she would ask questions, maybe because she studied law? Haha!" Bai Bing also thanked the director for his patient instructions. "I need to learn a lot, luckily the director took the trouble to answer."

Jeremy Liu doesn't "give up" on Million Singer

After his phenomenal hit song and homemade MV, Jeremy Liu is the most wanted star on variety shows. On the 19th, the star went to the recording of the popular music game show Million Singer to test his memorization skills for lyrics. However, he was constantly lagging behind on the music, as well as not knowing the lyrics. It was impossible for him to make it pass first round, but since Jeremy’s singing was highly anticipated, the show made a one-time exception and allowed him to try again three times. He finally succeeded with singing host Harlem Yu’s classic Meteor Garden opening theme song, “情非得已” (Can’t Help Falling For You). Harlem embraced his special guest Huang Guo-Lun in joy and said, “From the start of the recording till now, I am the most touched at this moment!”

Jeremy had to ask Harlem for help in reading the song titles as he didn’t know any of the words. Feeling helpless due to his poor Chinese, Jeremy asked, “Can I admit defeat?” But the audience immediately teased him by singing the first verse of his hit single, “The words give up don’t exist in my dictionary~”(我的字典裡沒有放棄). When Harlem pointed to his own name “Yu Cheng-Ching” and asked Jeremy how to read it, Jeremy made an attempt and said, “Geng Shui-Fa”. Harlem broke into tears, “This guy comes on my show but he doesn’t even recognize my name!”

Jeremy managed to get through four stages and took home six-thousand dollars (NT). Although netizens criticized his monotone singing in his latest single, “唸你”(Thinking of you), he was much more relaxed while singing on the show. Special guest and Super Idol judge Huang Guo-Lun commented that Jeremy is good at imitating the original singers. Thus, he pointed out that Jeremy must have been affected by his father Liu Jia-Chiang’s demo when singing “Thinking Of You” as he seemed to have carried a Shandong accent in it.

Mainland netizens criticize "Sunshine Angel" for being a rotten drama

There have been an increasing number of Taiwanese idol dramas collaborating with mainland investors and TV networks; as part of the process, TV networks must wait to get an approval from mainland’s administration of radio and television before broadcasting the drama in Taiwan. However, as reported earlier, Hunan TV “surprised” GTV by completing the airing of “Sunshine Angel” in nine days, leaving GTV and Comic Ritz in anger and frustration.

GTV originally planned to premiere “Sunshine Angel” in the summer, but Taiwan will be its second run. Despite the series is now fully accessible on streaming (from Hunan TV) and circulated on the web, GTV expressed that the version Hunan TV aired was not complete and criticized the network’s sloppy work on editing. GTV further expressed that they will arrange to air the drama as soon as possible. Production company, Comic Ritz, expressed that they will leave everything up to GTV to decide.

Although the mainland got the first run of “Sunshine Angel”, it did not receive high praises from local viewers and was deemed a rotten drama. Since the drama is a remake of the Korean drama, “Success Story of a Bright Girl”, many netizens criticized Rainie Yang and Wu Chun for their bad acting compared to the original. Some even boycotted watching the series because Rainie spoke Japanese in it, criticizing her of being a Japanophile.

Behind the tragedy of my kingdom

The Wu Chun, Han Geng, Barbie Hsu (Tsui Hei Woon) starred, Sammo Hung Kam Bo action directed, Gao Xiaosong directed action romance MY KINGDOM (DAI MO SUN) would have rarely seen behind the scene footage of Wu Chun releasing electricity and Han Geng practicing "blood spraying".

First time trying Beijing Opera, Wu Chun could not hide his excitement. Dressed in costume he kept making passes at the cameras. The solo performance was not enough fun for me as he often dragged Han Geng into his monkey act; for his first film Han Geng was very tough. For one short "blood spraying" scene he repeatedly practiced with water. The originally tragic blood spraying martial art actor turned into a comedy; marrying in a flash during the shoot, Big S in the film was very high spirited and her laughter was continuous.

Several young idols' lively energy infected others on the team. Hung Kam Bo not only personally taught Big S the lotus finger but also when he was in the mood with his demonstration he would even dance on the set.

Not all of the singer's purchases are on designer bags and expensive shoes though. The singer recently found a set of 5 chopsticks with a spoon in a cute case that she wanted. She also bought dish washing soap. This was to help the environment; washing chopsticks uses less water because they're easy to clean and its less wasteful than using disposable chopsticks.

Aaron Yan Discusses Differences Between Fahrenheit & Solo Career

As he enjoys the success of his solo career, Aaron Yan talks about how working as a solo artist is different from working in a group.

Earlier this year, Fahrenheit member Aaron Yan released his first solo album "The Next Me". The album became a commercial success, showing his individual talents as an artists. After months of promotional activities for his solo debut, the singer talks about the differences between working in a group and working as a solo artist.

As a member of Fahrenheit, each person must work together towards the needs of the group. The group is more important than the individual artists who make up the group. Your work as a group doesn't give fans a deep understanding of you as an individual. This is not true for solo work.

In 2010, Aaron began thinking about recording a solo album to allow fans to see him in a more intimate way. Aaron had a part in every aspect of his solo debut, from the album preparation to the filming of music videos. Aaron was able to put his heart into the album, creating an intimate piece of work for his fans.

Aaron also commented on Wu Chun's departure from the group. He stated, "We should respect everyone's decision. With age, you begin thinking about your future and plan your life accordingly. The only position I'm in is to bless each member's decisions in life."

Wu Chun denies starting a business in Hong Kong

With many hunks like Louis Koo Tin Lok, Wu Chun and Wu Jing, the film MAGIC TO WIN (HOI SUM MOR FAT) yesterday held a press conference. Producer Raymond Wong Pak Ming would also appear in the film. The event also arranged for the magician in the film to perform. Wu Chun denied planning to purchase property in Hong Kong and joked that for work to fly all over and stayed at hotels, he did not have any real home.

Yesterday many of the film's stars appeared as Koo Tin Lok, Wu Chun, Wu Jing, Yan Ni and producer Wong Pak Ming attended. The event also arranged for Japan's magician of the year Tonny to demonstrate magic. Wong Pak Ming announced the good news that the film has already been sold the distribution rights to many regions like Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, the U.S., Canada and the U.K. In addition, the film also had a mysterious new comer as its female lead. The host asked why Wong Pak Ming asked Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi to make a movie instead of a new comer. Wong Pak Ming stressed that it was only a genre issue. He said, "I look for different actors for different series. Earlier ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2011 (JUI KEUNG HEI SI) comedy used big names, HAPPY GHOST (HOI SUM GWAI) used new comers. This time MAGIC TO WIN is no exception. This film has many young girls and is a youth magic comedy."

As for Wu Jing he revealed in the film had some "environmental friendly action" with Wu Chun. Since it was not the usual type it was rather difficult. Later Wu Chun and Wu Jing were interviewed together, Wu Chun revealed that for his first film of this genre it was very fresh and interesting. Speaking of his father coming to Hong Kong earlier, Wu Chun pointed out that his father only stayed for two or three days. Wu Chun said, "Because I have been working on movies we haven't seen each other for two months!" He stressed that this time he returned to Brunei more to be with his family and not with a child. As for buying a home in Hong Kong, Wu Chun said, "I don't know! So far I still don't have such an idea. In Hong Kong I stay in a hotel too. I have to fly back and forth and have no real home. (Would you open a store in Hong Kong?) I am busy with making movies now, I hope to have time to run a business and I would like to run it myself more." Wu Chun denied rumors that he planned to open a bakery in Hong Kong. Wu Chun pointed out that he did not. He also said, "I like bread, in Hong Kong I have had many different type of bread." Would he stay more time in Hong Kong after leaving Fahrenheit? He reiterated that he would spend more time on making movies just like before. Will Fahrenheit reunite again? He said, "Let's see what the company coordinates. This year I don't have time."

Wu Jing revealed that this time he did not play a villain. He said, "This time I didn't have to die, but I had to fight so it was very hard." Speaking of his "environmental friendly action" in the film, Wu Jing stressed that this time was more artificial. Goo Jai said that the female lead still had to be kept confidential. He and she only had scenes together at the end. Goo Jai also pointed out that this was a magic film, in the film he had the ability to tell the future. Did he ask the magician for advice? He said, "He taught me how to make a ring disappear. (Would you learn it for a marriage proposal?) That's good too." Goo Jai also said that before getting into the business he went to a psychic who predicted that he would break his leg, which finally came true last year during a film production. He said, "If the prediction is bad I have awhile to be scared, I believe in relying on my hard work."
